Marguerite is a New York-based actor originally from Rochester, NY. She began her professional training at Geva Theatre Center, her artistic home, and has since studied with Yale School of Drama Summer Intensive, Fordham University at Lincoln Center, London Dramatic Academy, and PUSH Physical Theatre. She is currently a member of The Bats, the resident acting company at The Flea Theater. Marguerite has performed internationally in Scotland and Italy. Her experience includes work in theatre education, which she believes is a powerful tool for empowering young people and building the next generation of artists, thinkers, movers, and daring human beings.
An avid runner and certified Kripalu yoga teacher, Marguerite is interested in projects that involve the body and its role in our conflicts and relationships. She is passionate about solidarity, justice, and community organizing, and regularly works with organizations and movements fighting for racial, social, and economic justice. She is most excited to be a part of work that is necessarily both political and personal. Marguerite loves the shared experience of storytelling and the power it has to shape our collective consciousness.
